Friendship (skill)
Friendship is a skill that allows two friend characters to instantly teleport to each other.
How Friendship skill works
Two characters who become friends can instantly teleport to each other:
- Characters must be in the same party.
- To use skill character do not need any special items in inventory. But for each teleportation, the character who used the skill is charged 5 000 gold.
- Skill cooldown (for the character who used it): 60 sec.
- Character can teleport if both characters are within the same region (for example, from Icicle to Summer Isle, from Treasure Isle to Naval Base, etc.).
- Characters can teleport between different parts of the same maze (for example, from DW-1 to DW-2).
- Characters cannot teleport between different mazes (for example, from FC to DS).
- Characters cannot teleport inside the maze from outside (for example, from Argent to DW).
- Characters cannot teleport if any of the them are on Prison island.
- A character who is under the influence of a curse in the Eternal Garden, cannot teleport to friend.
How to make a friendship
Any characters can become friends, regardless of level, race or class. One character can only have one friend at a time. To become friends, each character must have one Oath of Friends in their inventory, which can be purchased in item mall for IMPs in the "Character" section and 10m gold. Both characters, being only two in the party, must get to the magic stone in the Andes forest (685,2828)and then double-click on the Oath of Friends, which will turn into Blood oath of eternal friendship (characters must have full HP). Next, you need to go together to Innkeeper - Harken in Shaitan (810,3498), and one of the two characters must select "Best friends -> We are ready." NPC will take a Blood Oath and 10m gold from each friend, and the characters will automatically learn the Friendship skill.
How to break a friendship
Once a friendship breaks down, former friends can make a friendship again with other characters, and the ability to teleport to the former friend is lost. Friendship can be broken unilaterally or by mutual agreement.
Unilaterally
A character who wants to break a friendship must purchase 3x Oaths of Friends, go to Innkeeper - Harken in Shaitan (810,3498) alone and select "Failed friendship -> I don't have a friend anymore -> I'm ready." NPC will take all 3x Oaths, the friendship will be broken, and the second character, as compensation, will receive 1x Oath of Friends.
By mutual agreement
Both characters, being in the party alone, must purchase one Oath of Friends, together approach Innkeeper - Harken in Shaitan (810,3498) , and one of the friends should select "Failed friendship -> We're not friends anymore -> We're ready." The NPC will take away the Oaths from both characters, and a friendship will be broken.
