Inert dust, inert stone and elemental stones
Inert dust, Inert Stone shard, Inert stone and elemental stones - are important items involved in many aspects of Tales of Pirates.
Inert dust
Inert dust is used:
- To create Broken inert stones by double-clicking (or single-RMB on dust): 100x Inert Dust = 1x Broken inert stone.
- As an ingredient for manufacturing and crafting.
- To create 2nd generation of fairy pets (fairy pet marriage).
- To combine gem shards.
- To unseal sparks.
- To use Evil crystal.
Where to get Inert dust
- In FC, DS, DW: from common monsters, mini bosses and chests.
- From horoscope bosses.
- Produce Pouch of Inert Dust by crafting. Upon opening the pouch, character will receive 10x Inert dust.
- Dig out from NSS and OSS.
- Obtain from analyze and fish butchering.
- Redeem 3x Inert Dust for 1x Fel Runestone from the Black market Merchant in Icicle (1371,587).
Inert Stone shard
Inert Stone shard is used to create Inert Dust by double-clicking (or single-RMB on a shard): 1x Inert Stone Shards = 10x Inert Dust.
Where to get Inert Stone Shard
- In FC, DS, DW: from main bosses and special monsters.
- From jade bosses, legendary bosses, sea bosses.
- Produce shard by crafting.
Broken Inert Stone
Broken Inert Stone is used to create Inert Dust by double-clicking (or single-RMB on a shard): 1x Broken Inert Stone = 100x Inert Dust.
Broken Inert Stone can be turned into Inert Stone at NPC Stone Explorers Assistant in Argent (2194,2741). To create one inert stone you will need:
- 1x Broken Inert Stone
- 1x Kal Runestone
- 150 000 gold
Inert stone
Inert stone is used for:
- To create special corals for voyagers
- To create rings
- To create necklaces
- To create elemental stones
- Redemption of Box of Coronation
Elemental stones
To create a certain elemental stone, you need to buy the appropriate power from NPC Black market Merchant in Icicle Castle (1371,587) for 6x kal runestones, then double-click on the power, then apply the power by clicking on the inert stone.

Elemental stones T2
T2 elemental stones can be obtained in two ways:
- Redeem for Eternal Garden Tokens from NPC Crazy Erol in Icicle Castle (1374,539).
- Create from elemental stones T1
To create a certain elemental stone T2, you need to go to the NPC Magic Stone Explorer in Argent (2194,2746), select "Increasing the power of elemental stones", then select the stone of interest. To exchange, you need two elemental stones, spark, 200x inert dust and 100 000 gold.
