Land Fishing and Butchering fish
Land Fishing and Butchering fish are two linked life skills, allowing to catch fish on the Argent beach, and then butcher fish to get ingredients for alchemy, strengthening scrolls, blueprints, NSS and OSS, Lv 3 corals, inert dust, Kal runestone, reputation books.
How to learn
To learn Land Fishing and Butchering Fish, character need 2 life skill points and Fisherman's kit, which can be created using crafting. After opening the kit, character will learn two skills at once and receive Bamboo Rod and Fisherman's Knife - two untradeable tools for fishing and butchering.
Land fishing
To go fishing, you need to equip the Bamboo Rod in the weapon slot, go to Argent Beach (2095,2825), click on the Land Fishing skill, then hold down the Shift key and click LMB on any of the five fish spots in the sea. The character will start the fishing process automatically, and no further action is required from the player.
- Players can fish in AFK mode.
- Players cannot fish if character is connected to the server via off. stall channel.
- One player can only fish one character at a time.
If one player alternately fishes on several different characters, then before starting a fishing session on a new character, player must complete the session on the previous character, otherwise the new character will not be able to fish.
Fishing session
By default, the time of the fishing session depends on the level of the Fishing skill (rod) and is reduced by 5 seconds with each new level.

In addition, the session time can be reduced by purchasing in item mall for IMPs:
- Fish bait. Reduces session time by 60 seconds.
- Fisherman costume. Reduces session time by 15 seconds.
How to increase level of Fishing
In the process of fishing, the fishing rod accumulates experience depending on the level of the fish caught. Once player has accumulated the required amount of experience to advance to the next level, player need to put in the inventory repair tool, which is created using crafting. Then go to NPC Fisherman - Alexander on the Argent beach (2094,2817) and select "Level up your fishing rod". Character must have 1 free life skill point. The level of the fishing rod and the level of the Land Fishing skill will increase at the same time. The maximum level is 5.

Butchering fish
For butchering, player need land-caught fish and fish boards. Fish caught with sea fishing cannot be butchered.
Fish boards
Fish boards are of two types:
- Fish board. Can be bought for 2 000 gold each from NPC Fisherman - Alexander on Argent Beach (2094,2817). In case of successful butchering, it gives out 1 item. Suitable for butchering small and medium fish only.
- Premium Fish board. Can be bought in item mall for IMPs. In case of successful butchering of small or medium fish, it gives out 2 items. Large fish can be butchered using only a premium board. In case of butchering a large fish, it gives out 1 item.
Process of butchering fish
To butch the fish, player need to go to the Fish butchering box on Argent Beach (2091,2816), put everything in its place and press the "Start" button.
Butchering can end in success, and then the character will receive loot. Or failure, in which case the character will not receive anything. The chance of a successful butchering depends on the level of the Butchering skill (fisherman's knife):

How to increase level of butchering
The maximum level of the Fish Butchering skill, like the maximum level of the Fishing Knife, is 5. The Fisherman's knife gains experience (regardless of success / failure) in the process of butchering:
- Small fish - 3 Exp
- Medium fish - 5 Exp
- Large fish (WITHOUT premium status) - 7 Exp
- Large fish (WITH premium status) - 8 Exp
Premium status increases fisherman's knife experience gaining only when butchering large fish.
Once player has accumulated the required amount of experience to advance to the next level, player need to put in the inventory repair tool, which is created using crafting. Then double click on the Fisherman's Knife. The character must have 1 free life skill point. After using the repair tool, the level of the Fisherman's Knife and the level of the Fish Butchering skill will increase at the same time.
